Restoration Project Manager/Lead Technician Job Summary

This important position within the cleaning & restoration industry is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restoration projects including water/fire/smoke/mold damage, ensuring projects are properly scheduled, planned, and completed efficiently and on budget, while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. To be considered, candidates must have proven experience in water/fire/smoke/mold mitigation jobs and project management, as well as relevant IICRC certifications including WRT, AMRT, and ASD. Restoration Project Manager/Lead Technician Responsibilities

Effectively schedule, plan, budget, manage and oversee water and other restoration projects (fire/smoke/mold).
Properly assess, document and report all restoration projects from start to finish including performing field inspections, taking photographs/videos, measurements, and moisture readings, and using project management software to estimates and reports.
Effectively manage, supervise, and train technicians in water, fire, smoke and mold remediation standards and processes.
Effectively and timely communicate and coordinate with insurance representatives, vendors, subcontractors, technicians and labor to ensure timely completion of all projects.
Foster team culture and positive work environment while providing leadership, training, and guidance to technicians and others.

Restoration Project Manager Qualifications

3+ years of proven experience in water and mold damage restoration/project management role within the restoration industry.
Current IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) certifications required: WRT, AMRT, ASD (optional).
Strong understanding of operational processes, employee management skills, and excellent customer service.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to lead crew of technicians and temp labor.
Ability to strategize, solve problems effectively, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proven knowledge of and experience in insurance claims process: claims documentation, Xactimate estimates, satisfying adjuster requirements.
Proficiency in computer technologies including CRM/scheduling/project management tools, Xactimate, Word, Excel, computers, iPads, phones, etc.
Ability and willingness to work in the field with technician crews.
